Join Us for the annual EARLYFEST: A Celebration of Early Childhood Education and Climate Awareness. Taking place November 23, 2024 at Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.

The TERIA Foundation, in partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Beyond the Return(BTR) Secretariat, invites you to join them for the Early Childhood Education Festival (EARLYFEST) this November. The event is officially endorsed by the Ghana Tourism Authority and recognized as an official event on the December in GH Calendar.

This year’s theme is ‘Tackling Climate Change Through Early Years Education: The Role of Stakeholders’. 

EARLYFEST presents a unique opportunity for schools, educators, parents, and the community to come together and engage in meaningful discussions and activities that underscore the importance of environmental education in early childhood. This day-long event, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, will feature a wide array of interactive and educational activities designed to inspire creativity and build awareness about climate change among our youngest learners.

There will be many exciting activities happening at EARLYFEST:

• EARLY ARTS: Engage with artistic expressions that inspire appreciation for nature and the environment.
• EARLY FASHION: Experience a showcase of eco-friendly fashion designs created by students, emphasizing sustainable practices.
• EARLY GAMES: Enjoy interactive games that blend learning about climate change with fun.
• EARLY TOUR: Take a guided tour of the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, highlighting ecological features and their importance.
• EARLY MUSIC/RAP: Be captivated by music and rap performances centered around environmental themes.
• EARLY DANCE/CHOREOGRAPHY: Watch captivating dance performances that reflect the beauty of our planet and the importance of preserving it.
• EDUCATORS COOKING COMPETITION: Witness a thrilling competition where educators prepare delicious, healthy meals using sustainable ingredients.
• EARLY AWARDS: Celebrate outstanding projects and initiatives by schools and individuals that promote early childhood education and environmental awareness.
• EARLYFEST aligns with the spirit of giving back to the community, as it supports the youth of our nation through education and empowers the next generation to take meaningful action against climate change. This festival is an unmissable opportunity to learn, network, and collaborate with others who share a commitment to sustainability and education.
